Our first weekend at school was a three day weekend, so we decided to take a few trips around the city. Saturday was marked by a visit to DUMBO and the Brooklyn Bridge (pizza was involved, of course). Don't go to DUMBO in pursuit of anything affordable. Unless you consider a $500 pair of Levi's affordable, but hey, it's fun to play make-believe.
Sunday was a visit to the MET to catch the last few days of the Manus x Machina gallery followed by a visit to the rooftop, the Chelsea Market, and a walk around the Highline. Few photos were taken...I never think to take photos when I'm starving (I wouldn't recommend only eating a granola bar until 4:00 in the afternoon). Since, I've learned to feed myself; more specifically, those little cutie / clementines are what keep me alive.
Monday was my first grocery run. YAY for adulting! Pro-tip: just don't go to Trader Joes. Don't do it. Unless you're game to experience the madness that ensues.
